LG Display first-quarter down 95 percent vs year ago, but beats forecast

SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea's LG Display Co Ltd said on Wednesday its first-quarter operating profit fell 95 percent from a year earlier, beating market expectations but still the weakest in four years as soft tech demand hit display panel prices.
