Spider-man has a convoluted history in film. First, there was the Toby Maguire-led version in Sam Raimi's trilogy. Andrew Garfield took up the mask for another pair of films, before Tom Holland brought the character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War.
